Thank you to everyone who took part in the Go Gold window competition, we think that everyone was a winner, Earlsdon (and beyond) looked amazing.
Thank you to our judges – Coventry’s Lord Mayor Linda Bigham, Jayne Innes, Councillor Kindy Sandhu and Stephen Humphries from Children’s Cancer and Leukaemia Group – CCLG – they had a really tough job deciding on the awards.

The school raised £556.95 for Ben’s fund through gold ribbon badge sales and a uniform with a gold twist day.
Special mentions to Cards, Balloons n’ Things, Russells Garden Centre for their fundraising throughout the month, and to the Coventry Blaze Ice Hockey Team for their Go Gold match.

The Lord Mayor visited Albany Cycles this afternoon to award the trophies. She said that she was really impressed by the community going gold and all the windows and displays looked amazing. She also said it was wonderful that the community had come together to do such a positive thing at such a sad time.
